The Faith Choir from Countryside Community Church, United Church of Christ in Omaha, Nebraska is going on a summer concert tour.  They will stop in Lawrence July 8-9, 2017, providing music for the 9:30 worship service at Plymouth.They will arrive at Plymouth on Saturday for a rehearsal, dinner with Plymouth members, and then depart with host families.  We are currently in need hosts for adult chaperones and high-school-aged choristers.

On Wednesday, April 19, in Coordination with the Lawrence Public Library, Plymouth was very excited to welcome Tanner Colby, New York Times Bestselling author of Some of My Best Friends are Black: the Strange Story of Integration in America. Joining Mr. Colby was the University of Kansas’ own Dr. Clarence Lang for a conversation on the struggles for racial integration in the United States. Plymouth’s 2017 Vacation Bible School (VBS) will be from June 19—22 in conjunction with Trinity Lutheran Church. VBS will be held at Trinity from 6 to 8 p.m. Cost is $10 per child.
